Prof. Imad Al-Zeer participates in the Board of Directors meeting of the Arab Council for Training and Student Innovation
Prof. Imad Al-Zeer, President of Palestine Ahliya University, attended the 32nd Board of Directors meeting of the Arab Council for Training and Student Innovation at Misr University for Science and Technology, Egypt.
Prof. Imad Al-Zeer, Board Member of the Arab Council, stated that the meeting reviewed key agenda items, including the council’s statutes, formation of the Executive Committee (2025–2028), and current and upcoming activities.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Nathir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, with the participation of board members including Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities; Prof. Nihad Al-Mahboub, President of Misr University for Science and Technology; Prof. Mushtaq Al-Nada, President of the University of Anbar; Prof. Belkacem Shallouf, President of the Open University of Libya; Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, President of Zarqa University; and Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaibi, President of Taiz University. Joining online were Prof. Al-Moez Al-Shafra, President of Tunis El Manar University; Eng. Ziad Al-Saaida, CEO of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission; Prof. Fawwaz Al-Zghoul, Director of the Arab Council; Eng. Jihad Al-Kharraz, Assistant Director and Council Secretary. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hala El-Manoufi, Board Member of Misr University for Science and Technology, and Dr. Iman Abdelaziz, Director of University Development.
This meeting is held regularly to discuss the activities of the Arab Council and matters related to training and scientific innovation for students of Arab universities.
The Chairman of the Board thanked Misr University for Science and Technology for hosting the meeting and the members for their attendance and participation, emphasizing the Arab Council’s key role in fostering the creative capacities of students at Arab universities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council Chairman honored the attendees with the Arab Council’s shield.
