Exploring the Path from Digital Financial Literacy to QR Payment Adoption
Abstract
The study examines the influence of digital financial literacy components—awareness, knowledge, experience, and skills—on the adoption of QR payment systems among university students. It highlights strong positive relationships between digital financial awareness and knowledge, which enhance financial experience and skills. These improvements, in turn, significantly promote the adoption of QR payments. Additionally, mediation analysis indicates that awareness and knowledge indirectly facilitate adoption through these enhanced skills and experiences. However, the expected moderating role of the digital financial legal framework was not confirmed, suggesting its impact on the dynamics driven by digital literacy components is limited.
