Executive Education and Vocational Training at Palestine Ahliya University

Palestine Ahliya University (PAU) provides executive education and vocational training opportunities for members of the local community, professionals, graduates, and employees of public and private sector institutions. Through its specialized centers, the University offers non-degree training, professional development, capacity-building activities, workshops, and certificate programs designed to respond to labor-market needs and strengthen practical and professional skills.

Continuing Education and Professional Development

The Continuing Education Center (CEC) delivers standard and customized certificate programs, non-credit courses, and workshops for individuals and institutions across Palestine. Its activities aim to enhance professional and technical competencies, improve individual and institutional performance, and support lifelong learning. The Center also provides training and consultancy services to public and private sector organizations, helping participants develop skills relevant to their professional responsibilities and employment opportunities.

Human Resources Development and Institutional Training

Through the Human Resources Development Center (HRDC), PAU supports professional development and capacity building for public and private sector institutions, educational organizations, and civil society organizations. The Center focuses on strengthening human resource capacities, sharing expertise, and providing training that responds to organizational needs and developments in the Palestinian labor market.

Specialized Training in Special Education

The University’s Special Education Center contributes to professional and vocational development by providing training opportunities for specialists, teachers, educators, trainers, and parents working with or supporting persons with special needs. Its activities aim to strengthen practical knowledge and skills in special education, care, rehabilitation, and inclusive educational practices.

Through these centers, Palestine Ahliya University extends learning opportunities beyond its enrolled student body and contributes to lifelong learning, professional development, and the acquisition of relevant technical and vocational skills among members of the wider community. These efforts support SDG 4.3.3 by promoting access to continuing education and skills development for youth and adults.
