
Palestine Ahliya University Tops National Rankings and Secures a Place Among the World’s Top 14 in the 2026 HE Ranking
In a landmark academic achievement reflecting a sustained trajectory of excellence and institutional advancement, Palestine Ahliya University has attained notable global recognition. The University ranked first among Palestinian universities and secured a place among the world’s leading institutions, according to the 2026 HE Higher Education Ranking. This accomplishment reaffirms its standing as a pioneering higher education institution capable of competing internationally despite prevailing challenges.
The results of the 2026 HE Higher Education Ranking revealed that Palestine Ahliya University secured first place nationally in Palestine and ranked 14th globally among more than 507 participating universities from 95 countries—an achievement that reflects the quality of its academic performance and the integration of its educational and research systems.
According to the official ranking report, the University achieved a total score of 8,452 in the overall evaluation, placing it within approximately thetop 5% of institutions globally. This distinction reflects the strength of its institutional framework and its capacity to attain excellence across diverse university performance indicators.
The HE Ranking is based on a comprehensive and advanced methodology, evaluating universities across 25 key criteria and 138 detailed indicators that encompass all dimensions of university performance, including research, quality of education, internationalization, student success, innovation, sustainability, governance, and societal impact.
