In 2025, Palestine Ahliya University reaffirms its commitment to advancing healthcare services and research through strengthened collaboration with local, national, and international health institutions. By fostering strategic partnerships with hospitals, non-governmental organizations, and governmental bodies, the University continues to promote public health, enhance medical education and training, support disease prevention initiatives, and expand access to quality healthcare. These efforts reflect PAU’s dedication to improving health outcomes and contributing to the well-being and sustainable development of the Palestinian community and beyond.

Palestine Ahliya University signs a joint cooperation agreement with the Palestinian Nursing and Midwifery Syndicate, which includes a range of scholarships for syndicate members.

Palestine Ahliya University organized a collaborative health awareness initiative titled “You Are Stronger Than Crises… Get Checked and Stay Reassured,” in partnership with the Palestinian Medical Relief Society and representatives from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Palestine Ahliya University is proud to announce a new collaboration agreement signed with the Palestinian Nursing and Midwifery Association, marking a significant step forward in its commitment to sustainable academic and professional development. This partnership will support joint efforts in nursing education, training, and research, aiming to enhance the quality of healthcare training and elevate the capacity of the university’s nursing programs. Through this agreement, PAU reinforces its dedication to creating long-term, positive impact in the health sector and contributes to sustainable development in Palestine.

This joint activity directly supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, particularly the target on reducing illness and mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention, early detection, and awareness.

The event included scientific sessions on breast cancer statistics in Palestine, early screening guidelines, psychological support mechanisms, the role of physiotherapy, and evidence-based nutrition for cancer prevention. A breast cancer survivor was hosted to share her experience, emphasizing mental resilience and the importance of early testing.

In addition, students and partner institutions developed interactive educational stations focused on:

Breast cancer symptoms and early detection (SDG 3.4)

Mental health and psychological support (SDG 3.4 & 3.5)

Nutrition, stress management, and self-examination techniques

Awareness on health challenges facing women in high-risk areas, especially Gaza (SDG 3.1 & 3.8)

This partnership demonstrates the university’s commitment to community health promotion, capacity building, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to advance public health outcomes in Palestine.
