Palestine Ahliya University Wins the Best Research Paper Award at the International Conference on Education at Abu Dhabi University

Palestine Ahliya University won first place for Best Research Paper in the ‘Technology and Educational Tools’ track at the International Conference on Education organized by Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates. The conference aimed to provide a platform for academics and researchers to exchange ideas and discuss current issues, challenges, and opportunities in the fields of teaching and learning. This was achieved through the participation of: Dr. Rawan Siaj, Mr. Jiries Abu Ghannam, and Mr. Murad Al-Zeer, with a research paper titled:

“Students’ Perceptions of Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on the Quality of E-Learning: An Analytical Study of Academic Integrity as a Mediating Variable”

The study aimed to identify students’ perceptions of artificial intelligence and its impact on the quality of e-learning, with academic integrity as a mediating variable. Although there are studies that explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and the quality of e-learning, or between artificial intelligence and academic integrity, there is a scarcity of studies that address academic integrity as a mediating variable between students’ perceptions of artificial intelligence and the quality of e-learning.

The study recommended the need to invest in the development and application of artificial intelligence tools that enhance transparency and support academic integrity in the educational environment. Additionally, it emphasized intensifying efforts to improve the quality of e-learning platforms by integrating artificial intelligence technologies that contribute to enhancing the learning experience and promoting the values of academic integrity within e-learning policies to ensure a high-quality educational experience. The study also recommended the establishment of strategies that support academic integrity and enhance the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence in e-learning.

It is worth noting that this participation is part of the university’s strategy to enhance international cooperation and scientific contribution in international conferences and scholarly publication.
