ملخص البحث
This research delves into the impact of Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences on the recruitment and selection mechanisms within Palestinian universities, striving to bridge the existing gap in the application of this theory towards enhancing human resource methodologies in higher educational contexts. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study collects data via surveys from administrative personnel across Palestinian universities and analyzes the data using PLS-SEM. The results emphasize the profound effect of multiple intelligences on the efficiency of recruitment and selection processes, underscoring the importance of integrating a spectrum of cognitive skills into these organizational functions. Contrary to initial hypotheses, no significant moderating effects of academic degree, job nature, and job level were observed on this dynamic. This investigation offers groundbreaking insights into the utilization of multiple intelligences theory in the realms of recruitment and selection in the educational sector, advocating for a broader, more effective strategy. It highlights the imperative need for further inquiry into the incorporation of multiple intelligences within organizational protocols, signifying a pivotal shift away from conventional recruitment practices.
