ملخص البحث
This research aims to contribute to the clarification of the concept and nature of digitization and digital transformation in Islamic finance, to highlight the promising opportunities provided by digital technologies for this sector, and to forecast the future of financial intermediation using descriptive and analytic techniques. The research concluded that digital transformation and digitization have become a reality in the global system, and that the Islamic finance sector must keep up and deal with it because doing so is no longer optional. In addition, for Islamic banks to achieve their desired objectives, they must adopt a digital transformation strategy with an emphasis on customers and innovation in the Islamic financial system, and leverage the benefits of digitization and digital transformation to achieve global competitiveness.
