Descriptive and analytical method is used to clarify electronic games, collect relevant information and analyze the information in order to discover the legal framework applying to them. The paper argues that video games are, inter alia, sport activities and this feature of electronic games comes under the supervision of the Olympic Committee, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, and the Sports Law. This necessitates legislation that takes into account the impact of video games on their players with a view to formulating a clear legal basis in order to protect players and users. The brief comparative discussion in this comment considers selected regulatory models in three jurisdictions: France, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
