By fostering strategic partnerships with hospitals, non-governmental organizations, and governmental bodies, the University continues to promote public health, enhance medical education and training, support disease prevention initiatives, and expand access to quality healthcare. This partnership will support joint efforts in nursing education, training, and research, aiming to enhance the quality of healthcare training and elevate the capacity of the university\u2019s nursing programs. Through this agreement, PAU reinforces its dedication to creating long-term, positive impact in the health sector and contributes to sustainable development in Palestine.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Other Palestinian Health Institutions\u00a0with which cooperation agreements have been established in the field of healthcare include:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cbrpalestine.org\/cbr-cbid\/basr\/\">Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbh.ps\/en\">Caritas Hospital<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ahli.org\/en\/\">Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.avh.org\/\">The Augusta Victoria Hospital\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.workersinpalestine.org\/calls-to-medical-sector-languages\/english\">Anesthesia and Intensive Care Technicians Syndicate<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/en\/\">Palestinian Ministry of Health<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.almakassed.org\/ar\">Al-Makassed Hospital \u2013 Jerusalem<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\r\n<p>This joint activity directly supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, particularly the target on reducing illness and mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention, early detection, and awareness.<\/p>\r\n<p>The event included scientific sessions on breast cancer statistics in Palestine, early screening guidelines, psychological support mechanisms, the role of physiotherapy, and evidence-based nutrition for cancer prevention. A breast cancer survivor was hosted to share her experience, emphasizing mental resilience and the importance of early testing.<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition, students and partner institutions developed interactive educational stations focused on:<\/p>\r\n<p>Breast cancer symptoms and early detection (SDG 3.4)<\/p>\r\n<p>Mental health and psychological support (SDG 3.4 &amp; 3.5)<\/p>\r\n<p>Nutrition, stress management, and self-examination techniques<\/p>\r\n<p>Awareness on health challenges facing women in high-risk areas, especially Gaza (SDG 3.1 &amp; 3.8)<\/p>\r\n<p>This partnership demonstrates the university\u2019s commitment to community health promotion, capacity building, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to advance public health outcomes in Palestine.
